A LEGACY OF PRINTING, A FUTURE OF PURPOSE
From a humble apartment in Tondo to industry leadership across continents, Majestic’s journey is a testament to vision, resilience, and Filipino excellence.
In 1950, amid the rubble of post-war Manila, Antonio Cheng founded Majestic in a two-door rented apartment in Tondo. With only three machines and a dream, he set out to provide printed packaging solutions for a nation in the midst of recovery. What began as a small printing operation would eventually grow into one of the Philippines’ most respected and innovative packaging companies, serving top local and multinational brands across Asia-Pacific and all the way to Europe.
Built through decades of perseverance, the company’s growth mirrored the country’s own industrialization. By the 1960s, Majestic had moved operations to Caloocan. And in the 1980s, it had already begun modernizing through quality systems and offset printing. Its culture of continuous improvement and focus on people-powered progress proved vital, especially during the economically challenging era.

Under the stewardship of the Cheng family across three generations—most notably Larry Cheng and now the third generation including Mendel and Nelson Cheng, the company professionalized, expanded, and globalized. In 2016, it opened its world-class facility in Laguna Technopark, certified for international standards in safety, quality, and sustainability.
Today, Majestic is no longer just a print supplier, it is a trusted partner for brands that value excellence and reliability.
As Nelson Cheng reflected, “Strong partnerships create lasting impact.” It’s this principle that has shaped Majestic into not just a company, but a legacy in motion.
