HOW MAJESTIC IS LEADING THE FUTURE OF PACKAGING

After 75 years of innovation, Majestic is still printing forward—powered by technology, sustainability, and bold ambition.

When Mike Cheng jokingly refers to himself as a “PT”—not a physical therapist, but a “Print Technician”, he encapsulates the spirit of Majestic: rooted in tradition, but driven by innovation. From its early beginnings as a small press operation in post-war Manila, Majestic has evolved into a modern, end-to-end print solutions provider leading the way in smart and sustainable packaging.

In 2004, Mike returned from Germany with a mission to transform Majestic through science, innovation, and precision. That mission took shape in a series of bold moves, establishing the Technology and Innovation Group, upgrading workflows through digital systems, and investing in top-notch printing and finishing equipment.

The results speak for themselves. Majestic’s state-of-the-art Laguna facility, inaugurated in 2016, operates with systems aligned to global standards for occupational safety, food safety, and environmental responsibility. It now produces recyclable and even compostable packaging, with materials sourced responsibly to meet the rising demand for eco-friendly solutions.

But the company isn’t stopping there. From adopting artificial intelligence for smarter operations, to expanding into flexographic printing and collaborating across Southeast Asia and Australia, Majestic has reimagined what a print company can be. Its upcoming Customer Solutions Center will further enhance its ability to co-develop and customize solutions for clients.

“We don’t just imagine the future—we build it,” Mike declared. And in true Majestic fashion, that future is being printed—one sustainable, data-driven innovation at a time.
